This art display features works from the private collections of prominent artists, including Em Riem, Anida Yoeu Ali, Tor Vutha, and Vannak Khun. Commencing on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 5 pm, this exhibition reflects the ever-evolving nature of contemporary art in Cambodia.
An Innovative Mini-Museum
At the core of this artistic endeavor is the brainchild of Carlo Santoro, Metaestetica Lab. Housed in a compact 10-square-meter space within the Cambodian-German Cultural Centre 'Meta House,' it stands as an unconventional art space. This private mini-museum embodies an innovative ethos, embracing opportunities for exploration.
Supported by the Italian-Cambodian Business Association (ICBA) and Italian Cambodian Arts , Metaestetica Lab is the result of decades of belief in the future of Cambodian contemporary art.

"(Visions) ON the Future" extends beyond the traditional concept of an exhibition. It serves as a portal into the future of contemporary art in Cambodia, providing a nuanced perspective on the artistic innovations of the present with the potential to shape tomorrow.

Metaestetica Lab @ Museum is not a static institution; it is a dynamic hub of creativity. Carlo Santoro envisions a continuous rotation of exhibited works over the next six months. This fluidity extends beyond artists to include collectors who have played a pivotal role in shaping the artistic journey of the past two decades.
A Space for Exploration
Metaestetica Lab is open daily from 10:00 to 23:00, providing an artistic haven throughout the week. The museum warmly welcomes visitors to engage with contemporary art through free private guided tours from 5:00 to 6:00 on weekdays. It fosters an environment of discovery and learning, encouraging individuals to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art.
A Collective of Visionaries
The mini-museum features a curated selection of artists, including Suos Sodavy, Chhim Sothy, Tor Vutha, Ernst Altmann, Gregory Gosselin, Carlo Santoro, Khun Vannak, Vuth Lyno, Lim Sokchanlina, Robit Pen, Yen Entearak, and others. These artists have made a notable impact on the contemporary art landscape of Cambodia, and their contributions to "(Visions) ON the Future" promise an insightful and enriching experience.
In addition to these established artists, the exhibition also includes the works of artists who participated in A-N-T-O-P-I-A Phnom Penh Events, expanding the narrative of contemporary art in Cambodia.
