Experience a captivating piano recital with Italian pianist Giovanni De Cecco featuring Beethoven and Rossini. The event takes place on February 11th, 2024, at 7pm in the elegant setting of Raffles Hotel-Le Royal.

The recital begins with Mendelssohn's gentle "Fantasy Op16/3," evoking his Welsh summer memories, leading to Beethoven's iconic and emotive "Sonata op. 13 'Pathétique'." Beethoven admired Rossini's talent, praising his melodious compositions and prolific opera output. Rossini, in turn, concluded his illustrious operatic career in Paris, renowned for his Saturday Soirees where he showcased short piano pieces like 'Memento homo' and 'Un Profond Sommeil.'
