Metaestetica Lab: A Creative Haven
Metaestetica Lab @ museum represents a visionary attempt to establish the only Contemporary Art Museum in Phnom Penh. Curated and managed by Carlo Santoro - founding member of Italian Cambodian Arts - this private mini-museum is nestled within a 10 square meter room at the Cambodian-German Cultural Centre 'Meta House.'
The museum challenges the conventional constraints of space and embraces it as an avenue for artistic experimentation. Over the next six months, they envision a continuous rotation of exhibited works. This endeavor will not only involve artists but also the collectors who have championed the cause of contemporary art over the past two decades.
"(Visions) On the Future" invites us to re-examine our perspective on the future of contemporary art in Cambodia. It is an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the artistry that defies boundaries.
