"Fortunata," a 2017 Italian drama film directed by Sergio Castellitto, follows the story of Fortunata, a woman in her 30s on the outskirts of Rome. A survivor of a failed marriage, she faces daily struggles in raising her daughter, Barbara, and aspires to open her own hairdressing salon. The film, presented at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, features a remarkable performance by Jasmine Trinca, who won the Jury Prize for Best Performance.

Patrizio, a child psychotherapist assigned to provide psychological support for Barbara, presents Fortunata with a life-changing opportunity. However, not everyone knows how to seize good opportunities.
