Carlo Santoro
Founding member, Prof. Carlo Santoro, was an associate professor of Art, Architecture and Urban Design at the American University in Phnom Penh until 2024, with a research fellow in Cultural Heritage Preservation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Ph.D. in "Architecture and Construction," and master's degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata"; as well as having been an assistant professor at North South University in Dhaka, Bangladesh.He is currently vice-president of the Italian-Cambodian Business Association (ICBA) and a member of the International Art Psychology Association "Jartrakor " in Rome, directed by Prof. Sergio Lombardo.
As founder of Metaestetica Multidisciplinary Research Lab, he has participated in numerous exhibitions, events and seminars on digital and participatory art, such as those organized at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome (MACRO), the New Samnite Museum in Campobasso, the National Museum of Cambodia, the Angkor International Festival of the Arts, the Air Gallery Factory Phnom Penh and the Sarus Art Center Beijing 798 Art Zone.
